A.Bergere Champagne Brut Rose NV, 750ml, France
History
Our family is established in Fèrebrianges, in the heart of the Vallée du Petit Morin, where we have owned vineyards since 1848. Developing our know-how and passing on our knowledge is embedded in our history.

…cherish this wonderful legacy and build on it in their own unique way. Today, we continue to write history for the generations to come, true to one overriding principle: passion. Our ethos
As artisans of the terroir, we strive to bring out the potential of our vineyard plots in wines crafted with the utmost care and dedication. Our viticulture is sustainable and eco-friendly using Nature as our primary tool.
Mindful of the fact that the finest wines come from exceptional grapes, we carefully tend each vineyard plot, vinifying their grapes separately and minimizing our intervention in the winemaking process.
As creators of emotion, we produce fine wines from the Champagne region that embody the passion we put into each and every bottle.
An ode to the Vallée du petit morin
Our domaine owns 45 hectares and 35 of these are located in the Vallée du Petit Morin, in the communes of Fèrebrianges, Étoges and Congy. The clay with millstone grit soils of this terroir are particularly suited to the Chardonnay grape, while the flinty clay soils are ideal for the Pinot Noir.
The remaining 10 hectares are equally divided across the villages of Sézanne and Bethon in the Sézannais area, and the Côte des Blancs, on the terroirs of Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Chouilly, Cramant and Oger.
The Wine
This traditionally blended rosé wine reveals two distinct characteristics: the delicacy of Pinot Noir and the liveliness of Chardonnay. This harmony offers a refined rosé, marked by remarkable elegance on the palate. Its delicate effervescence is adorned with a salmon pink hue. On the nose, aromas of strawberry and raspberry emerge, while the palate is greeted by a taste elegance. This wine envelops the palate with a soft texture while offering a freshness that pleasantly lingers on the palate.
